Buckaroo Legends of the Great Basin

The Buckaroo Hall of Fame and Heritage Museum was founded in 1989 by Carl F. Hammond and is housed in the East Hall of the Convention Center in Winnemucca Nevada. There are currently 45 inductees and memorabilia in the museum. This great museum preserves the Buckaroo Heritage of Northern Nevada where some true legends of this great country can live on.

Legendary Buckaroo inductees known for skills relating to the "Buckaroo" life style;old-style bronco riding, rawhide braiding, horseman skills, (roping and cattle handing),or a cowboss for a big ranching outfit.Nominees must have worked as a "Buckaroo" within a 200 mile radius of Winnemucca, Nevada.
